Mr. Wilson's career has been honored with many distinctions. He was bestowed with the 1998 Young Architect Award from the American Institute of Architects Chicago Chapter and was a finalist in the Architecture League of New York's 1994 "40 under 40" competition. As a project architect at Tigerman, Fugman, McCurrry Architects, Ltd., Mr. Wilson was the first person named as an associate for the firm. Mr. Wilson maintains enthusiasm for the multitasking demands required to design and build an architectural project. He particularly enjoys the process of involving a client in the creative process so that design ownership is totally shared. Mr. Wilson received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ohio State University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has been a visiting critic at many schools of architecture and design and was recently named to the Executive Advisory Board to the Director of the School of Architecture at UIC. He also plays an active role with the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development. His firm's projects have been featured in Metropolitan Review, Inland Architect, the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Architectural Journals. |
